About This Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to facilitate the Data Center, Workforce Management, Distributed, & Mainframe Data Center Exits. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will help with the migrations of 8 Data Center Sites to 4 New Data Center sites. The SIE will have deep vertical expertise in Compute, Cyber and Network as well as efficiencies with Azure and Google technologies. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic approach to collaboration and passionate approach to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build IaaS exit plan and collaborate on compute & internal cloud exit plan for Wells existing portfolio.
· Manage with Product Owners, target data center landing zone infrastructure builds. Ensure Wells technology standards, design principles, and architecture standards are followed.
· As part of exit preparation, ensure necessary Security and Cyber guardrails are in place, validated, and tested prior to exit.
· Build detailed exit plans working with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Application teams.
· Execute modernization and exit plans from legacy technologies.
· Will be the accountable technology leader for establishing a comprehensive Compute & IaaS build, migration, and exit strategy.
· Establish the exit waves with OPS, CIOs, and the application owners based on the disposition of applications, modernization goals, and necessary security guard rails.
· Develop and maintain an integrated exit, build, and exit roadmap with execution schedules.
· Mitigate risks associated with dependencies and ensure proper sequencing of events. Manage risk according to Wells Fargo’s Risk Management policies and processes.
· Prepare materials and participate in Internal Audits that conclude with successful ratings.
· Ensure transition to operations working in partnership with Senior Technology leaders to define support models and runbooks.
· Develop and grow an organizationally positive, diverse team, mentor great teams, and be great role model of a service-quality-first obsessed and data-driven leadership.
Required Qualifications:
· 4+ years of software and/or Cloud engineering and/or operational experience
· 4+ years leadership in a hosting environment, especially in a large financial institution
· 4+ years of delivery experience with a proven track record of success
· Effective communication of complex topics to customers and/or business executives
· Large scale enterprise data center and/or application exit experience
· Infrastructure Services experience (compute, network, storage, firewall)

· Proficient with regulatory and auditor collaboration
· Ability to make decisions quickly in a high-volume hosting environment

· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience

Pay Range:
$100,000 - 179,2000 - New York/New Jersey
$84,000 - 149,400 (all other locations)
