Job Overview A law firm seeks a Finance Associate Attorney to join its Finance Practice Group in Dallas, Texas. The position involves advising financial institutions, private credit funds, and private equity sponsors on complex finance transactions, offering direct client contact and substantial business development opportunities.
Duties Execute finance transactions, including acquisition financings.
Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related closing documentation.
Engage in lender side and/or borrower side leveraged finance activities.
Requirements 4-8 years of experience working on varied finance transactions.
Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Texas bar.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications Texas bar membership.
Skills Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Experience with acquisition financings.
Ability to manage complex transactions.
