Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is looking for a Manager of Business Travel Sales to join the team! In addition, this position will collaborate and report to both the on-property Director of Sales & Marketing and the Mid-Atlantic Business Travel Sales Complex. Excellent Compensation package, along with UNCAPPED bonus potential with quarterly bonus structure and o ption to work remote 2-days per week.
Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is in the prestigious Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, next to Luxury retailers, high performing finance and banking institutions along with 17 Fortune 500 companies located thought Atlanta. Atlanta is also home to the fastest growing film industry in the nation!
We are looking for an experienced individual who knows the Atlanta local market, especially the luxury market, and who can recognize opportunities to close on BTS sales contracts.
Requirements:
1-3 years of Business Travel Sales Experience in a hotel environment.
Luxury experience preferred but not required.
Responsible for attending annual conferences and representing the hotel.
Extremely organized, have keen follow through with established accounts and experience soliciting new business.
Highly Preferred:
Experience with Travel Click Agency 360 and Demand360
Experience with Cvent/Lanyon
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT

What will I be doing?
As a Sales Manager, you would be responsible for increasing qualified BTS sales volume by developing key relationships with new BTS accounts, and growing production with assigned existing accounts across the group of hotels represented. This includes but is not limited to:
Attend daily BTS Complex and commercial meetings.
Work with BTS Complex to implement individual action plans to develop new BTS accounts via research and connections.
Negotiate and execute contracts for Volume Accounts
Qualify and convert prospects for the hotel.
Prepare and present proposals and/or contracts to prospective customers.
Develop and execute on-site and field presentations to prospective clients and creating that WOW factor.
Engage in outside sales activities to discuss business opportunities and entertain customers and have a strategic outlook on how to close a contract. Develop client relationships in the area and work on key untapped resources.
Participate in industry related organizations and the local community to develop business.
Attend departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business.
Ability to analyze Star reports, Travel Click Agency 360, and Hotelligence data to create action plans to capture all corporate clientele.
