SUMMARY:
Deliver IT support to Robertet employees, while coordinating, controlling, and maintaining the IT environment (Workstation, Workstation Security, end user peripherals and Telecom). Deliver a 1st class service to all users, be open to Improvement suggestions and follow up on them. Respect the technical IT policies, processes and practices, and work on their continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the IT Function in implementing a streamlined Single Point Of Contact approach (SPOC) for all Robertet employees in need of an IT intervention.
Own and ensure the continuity, integrity and recovery of services when related to Robertet end user equipment, software, and operations. Work with the Robertet Security Team to achieve the security goals and objectives approved by management.
Accountable for the delivery of the end-user services within the boundaries of approved SLAs across all Robertet facilities.
Manage and forecast lifecycle, inventories, and usage with respect to end user equipment and software. Adhere to current Asset Management processes, programs, and tools.
Contribute to and organize hardware and software deployment projects. Assist in the evaluation of end-user requests for software.
Manage and resolve Incidents, Requests and Changes accordingly to Robertet current policies, standards, controls, guidelines, industry best practices and ITSM/ITIL Processes
Ensure end user satisfaction remains the central point of all initiatives, understanding requirements & perceptions
Ensure that service delivery processes, policies and procedures are respected and followed. Propose improvement where applicable.
Plan and manage projects to fulfill business requirements
Maintain regular and close contacts with all users
Use tools to manage their function and abide by standards & methodologies (e.g. Ticketing system, Performance dashboards, etc.)
Foster a positive relationship with other IT staff
COMPETENCIES: Strong focus on Customer Service, responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of IT Support to Robertet employees, while coordinating, controlling, and maintaining the IT environment (Workstation, Security, and Telecom).
Knowledge of IT quality and service processes management.
Understanding of platforms and technical alternatives to be considered.
Experience in Information Technology in different Industries.
Experience in IT Infrastructure.
Experience in IT Systems & Applications and Software
Experience in IT Networking and Telecom.
Experience in IT Security.
Technical understanding of Windows 10, MS Office, Office 365, MS Exchange, Azure and Active Directory, Cloud Services, etc.
Able to work in a remote team.
Ability to work in a matrix environment with a sustained team leading role.
Able to communicate openly and deal with situations of conflict.
Able to work under stress & meet challenging deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: 1-2 years’ experience in delivering end-user support services
Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, Life Sciences, or related field experience.
Knowledge of Vendor management practices
Business knowledge of the different sites & functions
Recognized certifications (or documented experience) in the area of PC hardware, software and peripherals
Preferred: ITIL V3 or ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
Network + and/or Security + Certifications
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Working in computer room which may be noisy
Any allergies to flavors/fragrances/ingredients if troubleshooting is required for computers in production
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting of IT equipment (maximum weight one should be capable to lift, i.e. 40lbs.)
Crawling into tight spaces
Travel when necessary to other locations (i.e., NYCC, Centennial Drive, Mount Olive, etc.)
