Salutem – a Daniel J. Edelman Health specialist agency –is seeking an Account Supervisor with a passion for practicing corporate and product communications for health-focused companies and organizations to join our growing team. Salutem’s team counsels clients to articulate and communicate the corporate stories of healthcare companies for the purpose of stakeholder engagement, reputation management, public affairs, employee engagement, executive visibility and thought leadership, and consumer engagement. Health-related communications experience preferred.

Responsibilities Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, deadline, and budget adherence.

Play a major role in the creation of communications plans and goals; manage against them.

Serve as daily client contact and act as client lead when appropriate, address client issues thoughtfully and effectively.

Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content.

Build relationships with third-party influencers and internal business partners to meet client needs.

Demonstrate tactical proficiency in media relations, including creating and driving traditional outreach plans.

Demonstrate tactical proficiency in digital communications, including creating and developing organic social media content and paid social media activations.

Supervise staff by motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable, and conducting their reviews.

Contribute to business growth by introducing clients to new capabilities, building a network of industry contacts, and participating in relevant professional organizations.

Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals.

Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the DJE network’s values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.

Basic Qualifications At least 4+ years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications A proven ability to manage large projects (including budgets) and small teams simultaneously.

$67,000 - $94,000 a year An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits. #LI-KEB1
