As a Software Engineer, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to making possibilities happen in the payments industry! This position can be remote but must live and work in the US in Eastern or Central Time Zone.
Job Summary:
Provides technical leadership of the plan, design, development of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products or customizations. Works as part of a Premium Customer Support team. At times this role may be customer facing including triage sessions to debug an issue or working with customer and Business Analyst to document and analyze existing and/or new customizations.
Job Responsibilities:
Independently designs, develops, tests, and delivers high quality software/solutions. Provides direct estimates, such as time, percentage of project completion, etc. to lead and/or manager.
Research and resolves reported systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
Maintains detailed knowledge of software, underlying network and system software, and dependencies.
Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to the development organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Understand and adhere to all corporate policies including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required for the job:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
5 years software development experience.
COBOL and UNIX
Strong understanding of imbedded code to access relational database.
Strong TCP/IP knowledge.
Must have payment industry experience.
Preference for experience with Money Transfer System.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:
5 years software development experience in C/C++
Experience with Oracle, RGW, Impromptu or JasperSoft Reporting is a plus.
Expert knowledge of Unix/Linux/AIX.
Prior working experience with Wire Transfer protocols for SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, and/or the MTS application.

Majority time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
Some domestic travel required.
