Senior Fund Accountant ($115K/year + 10% bonus)
The hiring company is a Boston-based real estate private equity sponsor.
They focus on multifamily assets in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S., with an emphasis on long-term, cash-flowing investment strategies. Most real estate investors focus on risk profiles such as “core” or “value-add,” but this client has the expertise and flexibility to transact and operate across designations to find attractive risk-adjusted returns. They are an opportunistic and disciplined value-based investor.
What To Expect
$115/k base pay
10% bonus

Primary Responsibilities
Review and assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual fair value financial statements prepared by third-party fund administrators.
An understanding of the organizational structure, and a proven ability to work across teams and vendors towards a shared objective.
Supervise the fund treasury and liquidity management process (capital calls, distributions, and coordination with the financing team).
Maintaining work papers to support the Fund's performance.
Looking For Someone With
5+ years experience with fund accounting
Significant experience in Microsoft Office and Yardi (preferred)
Thorough understanding of financial statements and working in accounting software.
Private equity background is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
