Genesis10 is currently seeking an Audit Supervisor Treasury Liquidity and Asset Liability with our client in the financial industry located in Boston, MA. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities: Responsible for independently performing test work during highly complex audit activities for Lines of Business (LOBs)Key responsibilities include independently designing and executing audit tests, assessing issues for business impact and recommending severity ratings, and establishing business partner relationshipsEvaluate the control environment, fostering an inclusive work environment, applying product, business, and technical expertise, and supporting team members with developmentResponsible for providing independent and objective assurance to improve the organization's operations and compliance with key regulations by evaluating the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processesPerform independent testing of high profile, enterprise-wide focus areas, which will provide opportunities to further develop subject matter expertise in specialized areas that are in high demandAudit teams work alongside the Treasury, Finance, and Risk divisions to conduct reviews of the Company's liquidity risk management, interest rate risk management, asset liability management practicesExecute audit strategy for the sound application of risk-based auditing by defining audit scope and audit programs, and leverages automation and innovative methods in a timely and high quality mannerExercise sound knowledge of product, business, and technical expertise to effectively challenge management to improve the control environmentAssess impacts to business processes, controls, and strategies to provide recommendations on severity ratingsProvide input on draft audit reports and shares audit results with business leadersSupport the development of peers and teams through on-the-job-training and fosters an inclusive work environmentEstablish business partner relationships, primarily with line management, to develop business knowledgeUse innovative tools to complete audit activities more efficiently (e.g., testing)
Requirements: 2-6 years of Audit, Risk, Business Control, Compliance, Finance or other relevant experienceWorking knowledge of liquidity risk management, interest rate risk management, asset liability management practicesIntermediate Analytical / Automation Skills (SQL, SAS, Advanced Excel and Access)Ability to execute audit test plans within a risk-based audit methodologySound organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skillsSelf-starter, desire to learn able to teach others, positive attitude, exhibits flexibilityAbility to work in a very detailed mannerProficiency in Microsoft Office ProductsInternal Audit Review experienceIssue and Risk Management experienceAudit Planning experienceAnalytical and critical thinking skillsProject Management experienceAutomation experienceTechnical DocumentationAttention to detailBusiness acumenRelationship building skillsCoaching skillsWritten communication skills
