Responsibilities:
PRECONSTRUCTION PHASE
·Ensure Jobsite signage is on site day 1.
·Pre-Construction & Utilities
Attend Municipal and Internal Meetings. Stay up tp date on long lead items dates.
·Review Project Schedule
Always have the updated schedules and communicate the schedule with the subcontractors.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE
· Project Schedule
Schedules/three week lookahead are updated on a weekly basis. Every Friday, PMs distribute the schedules to Subs and Supers via distribution email.
·Daily Logs
Update daily logs every day. Required information must be in all daily logs.
·Jobsite Safety
Ensure all job-site safety requirements are adhered to and followed.
·Change Order/Delay Notices
Any and all change orders and delay notices must be documented and approved by the PM/Management.
·Risk Management
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
·Communications
Daily communication with PM must be done. You must keep General/ Regional superintendents/ PMs in the loop and document communication via Procore.
·Utilities
Stay up to date with utilities and any developments.
PROJECT CLOSEOUT PHASE
·Project Closeout
Ensure a timely and smooth hand-off to the client.
·Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications
Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking, and active listening
Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
Good planning skills, including design execution, resource allocation, and contingencies
Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues
In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations
Great problem-solving and decision-making skills
Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal-setting, and conflict management
Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
