+ Maintain preventive maintenance of all West Pak equipment * Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment
+ Compares identifying information and counts, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
* Affixes shipping labels on pallets identifying shipping information on cartons using placards provided by the company.
* Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
* Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
* Properly receive all inbound shipments of products while following all company procedures.
+ Coordinate with Quality Control team
+ Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
+ Ensure all products have been inspected prior to storing the product
* Properly organize and store all products in coolers according to dates and size of product
+ Maintain cooler temperatures in the daily log
+ Report any discrepancies to Day/Night lead
+ Maintain coolers clean
+ Maintain food safety awareness while handling any product with proper PPE
+ Ensure all products are scanned prior to storage
* Conduct daily inventory at the end of each shift
+ Email daily inventory to designated personnel
+ Ensure all closing procedures have been completed prior to the end of each shift
* Provide cash sale customers with the distress inventory for daily sales
* Perform daily entries in Famous of all inbound and outbound shipments
* May maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records
* Help prepare all orders which are scheduled for next day delivery
* Fill out forklift report on a daily basis
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
