Join us and let’s get started.**Job Description****AECOM** is seeking an **Assistant Project Manager** to be based in Sacramento, CA.**JOB SUMMARY:**The selected Assistant Project Manager will provide support for one of AECOM’s major infrastructure programs. Work with the PDS team to develop a thorough understanding of the program requirements. Assist in developing and managing program plans, supporting deliverables, schedule, budget and quality. Work with the program and project managers to assure the team is successful.**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Complete monthly status reports, including schedule updates, progress reporting, etc.+ Attend program meetings and prepare minutes as well as a list of follow-through actions.+ Assist in reviewing purchase orders, change orders, and sub-contracts.+ Develop and coordinate formal monthly project status reports+ Coordinate decision log/open item reports, communicate and follow up with responsible parties, informing PM on the status of items, and plans to meet deliverable dates.+ Generate schedules to assist Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Construction Managers.+ Develop, maintain, and communicate details of risk registers.+ Prepare technical memos and assist with specifications amendments.+ Provide detailed spreadsheets for data compilation and analysis.+ Communicate complex data visually to a variety of stakeholders.**Qualifications****MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**+ BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field+ 5+ years of related experience+ Demonstrated project management skills and expertise; demonstrated leadership, judgment, and technical competence; project management and organizational skills+ Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders; speak to management groups, presenting information in a clear and concise manner; motivate and organize multidisciplinary technical project teams.**Additional Information**+ Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
