Contract to Hire
**Pay Rate: $** 20/hr-$26/hr
**Schedule:** Must be open to varied shifts
**Responsibilities:**
+ Work environment/department specified in requirements
+ Determine specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria
+ Perform routine and complex technical procedures per departmental SOPs
+ Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure functionality
+ Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving
+ Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
+ Report accurate and timely test results for quality patient care
+ Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
+ Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as needed
+ Assist with specimen processing as required
+ Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE
**Requirements:**
+ Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirement.
+ Minimum 1-2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
