Description:
We're currently hiring for an experienced Senior Architectural Project Manager to join our team! The studio is committed to sustainable design, and providing unique, customer-driven design solutions to a diverse range of public and private clients throughout New England.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale ground-up projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and budgeting phases.
Conduct regular meetings with clients, contractors, and team members to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure project goals are achieved.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Prepare and oversee proposals, bids, and contracts for new projects, including negotiation and contract management.
Review and oversee construction documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Utilize project management software to track progress, manage resources, and maintain project documentation.
Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in the development of design concepts and solutions as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. (Required)
Registered Architect in the state of Massachusetts (preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience relating to large-scale ground-up projects.
18+ years of overall industry experience (Ideally in large scale commercial, municipal, or higher-ed)
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
Familiarity with Revit to review and check drawings; direct design production experience is not required.
Knowledge of sustainable design practices and building technologies
