A Black Tux Warehouse Ambassador will be responsible for training new associates and existing associates. An ideal candidate will possess excellent problem solving, communication and leadership skills. As an Ambassador, you will report to the Lead of your department and ensure trainer/trainee expectations are met. You will be responsible for guiding your new hires during their first week and assisting to the best of your ability with any questions.
What You’ll Do Train new and existing associates on functions and provides additional support as needed
Ensure all labor is conducted following the floor plan
Maintain 5S condition of work area
Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages associates to do the same
Notify the lead or manager about quality and/or safety issues
Follow standard operating procedures and notifies a lead/manager of any challenges performing the function
Maintain work pace at an assigned throughput (TPH) rate while maintaining highest level of quality
Notify lead of any shortage on supplies
Perform other duties as assigned by lead or manager such as additional departments you have been trained in
Must be willing to fill in for lead in their absence
Ability to work with others as a team for operational needs, project initiatives, or concerns
Ability to easily use Korber One to review TPH, transactions, times, functions, etc.
Provide a positive attitude and work environment for team members
Troubleshoot basic tablet or device issues
Who You Are Experience with Korber One (WMS) and handheld devices (RF)
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
Experience in fast-paced, high unit retail Distribution Center environment
Analytical thinker; able to solve problems quickly and effectively
Experience and complete understanding of Lean and 5S concepts is a big plus
Apparel industry, menswear and/or startup experience a plus
Excellent collaboration and planning abilities
Great organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
You sweat the small stuff and pay attention to detail
Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Drive
Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in the correct location, etc.)
Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same
Follows the standard operating procedures and notifies lead or manager in case of any challenges performing the function
Maintains work pace at an assigned throughput rate while maintaining highest level of quality
Notifies lead or manager immediately about any quality defect
Performs other duties as assigned
Attention to detail is a must and quality-driven
Must be punctual to shift timings
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment
Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 120 minutes
HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility

$19.56 - $20.72 an hour The Warehouse Ambassador role is onsite at our Gardena warehouse. The base hourly rate for this position will be $19.56, compensation may vary based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and location.
