Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY :

The VP Finance (FP&A) drives CECO’s financial strategy and oversees several fiscal functions (e.g., financial and capital planning, annual budgeting, operational accounting, report preparation, auditing, controllership, and asset management in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to maximize organizational profits and plan for future short and long-term financial growth. This role is a member of the Senior Leadership Team directly supporting the SVP, Chief Financial and Strategy Officer, leveraging analysis and data driven insights to advise executive management on strategic direction, development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as corporate prioritization, and strategy communication. The VP Finance is also responsible for building key stakeholder relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Leads formulation and execution of Corporate Development & Portfolio Strategy.

Cultivates, structures and executes M&A opportunities.

Manages and maintains current M&A and Alliance pipelines.

Supports the development of licensing and alliance/partnership opportunities with research, data collection, analysis and structuring.

Manages a team of analysts and transaction managers.

Manages and expands relationships with bankers and transaction specialists to include tax, legal, etc.

Reviews and evaluates new business models and corporate investment ideas.

Partners with Corporate FP&A to maintain corporate valuation models and develops value creation scenarios.

Represents CECO Environmental at select investor and analyst conferences.

Leads, mentors, and develops staff.

Serves as a core member of the Finance and Accounting leadership team.

Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

A Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline and MBA/ MS required, and a minimum of 15 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Capital Goods environment in Corporate Development, M&A or Strategy leadership role(s). Experience defining and executing inorganic growth strategies in support of accelerating revenue and profit delivery and driving transformational change. Experience in strategy formulation, growth and marketing plan development and deployment, M&A analysis and/or transactions, or operational improvement/Six Sigma. Experience leading cross functional and cross cultural teams, driving complex projects to conclusion.
