Position Overview
As Stanley's Enterprise Architect, you will play a leading role in defining and executing our technology architecture strategy. You will take a holistic view of the company's needs and create technology blueprints and roadmaps to ensure our systems enable our growth and long-term success. This person will be a critical technical resource and mentor to the IT organization and a key advisor to Stanley leaders in all functions and geographies.

The Enterprise Architect reports to the VP, Digital Technology and will be based in Seattle, WA.
What You'll Do
Architectural Strategy and Design:
Develop complex IT solutions using emerging technologies such as hybrid cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS), OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
Create and maintain enterprise blueprints and roadmaps that align with business and technology goals.
Design technology stacks that drive business outcomes and contribute to the bottom line.
Define and evangelize architecture standards and patterns to meet non-functional requirements across the enterprise.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across various teams to collaboratively address business challenges.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, ensuring alignment between business strategies and technology implementations.
Communicate effectively with management and direct reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure designed solutions are reliable, efficient, and secure.
Develop methods for compliant architecture, including data storage, metadata management, automation, and change management.
Conduct architecture assessments and perform technology quality assurance reviews.
Strategic Analysis and Implementation:
Lead cross-functional teams to analyze, redesign, and implement process improvements.
Assess the impact of technology changes on business processes and provide solutions to enhance efficiency, agility, and customer satisfaction.
Evaluate and design IT infrastructure to support current and future business needs.
Who You Are
Previous success leading the transition from monolithic systems to microservices architectures, focusing on domains such as eCommerce platforms.
Expertise designing scalable cloud-native architectures using microservices, particularly within the Spring Cloud ecosystem.
Proven track record of driving digital transformations by integrating data science, AI/ML and business automation tools in multi-cloud environments.
A consistent history contributing to open-source projects, particularly in ecosystems like Spring Framework.
Experience overseeing the development and implementation of consumer-facing mobile applications, particularly financial services platforms.
Skilled in the application of Agile methodologies for rapid and effective solution delivery in complex IT environments.
Able to manage both on-shore and off-shore development teams within an agile project management framework.
Proven success engaging with business partners to effectively prioritize, analyze, and implement IT service management modules.
Keen sense of emerging technologies and market trends.
Education and Experience
15+ years of progressive technology experience, including at least 3 years as an enterprise architect.
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with strong exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.
Proven success deploying applications using CI/CD Automation on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS as well as using IaaS tools for cloud resource formation.
Expertise with multiple enterprise applications including CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP), and OMS solutions (e.g., Sterling, Blue Yonder). Prior success leading the customization of enterprise applications to align with specific business processes and requirements.
Deep knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions with proficiency in platforms such as RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Proven ability to integrate advanced security protocols into enterprise architecture to enhance data protection and system integrity. Deep knowledge of NIST security frameworks.
Salary Range
$210,00 - $240,000 annually.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Stanley is a total rewards company, which includes rewards beyond base salary. At Stanley, full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual results.
