IT/OT Networking and Infrastructure Specialist - MID to SENIOR LEVEL

Our work primarily serves municipal water/wastewater utilities, state and local jails, detention/corrections facilities, as well as private clients.
Job Descriptiion
Signature Automation is seeking a mid to senior level IT / OT Network and Server specialist. Responsibilities include supporting, troubleshooting, and consulting with external clients and internal staff. Candidate must have excellent verbal and documentation skills and extensive knowledge and experience with virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity best practices. The ideal candidate for this position must possess Cisco and VMware certification or be in the final stages of completing these certifications.
Essential Functions
Design and implement electrical and power systems primarily for water/wastewater clients
Evaluate, select, and specify all electrical engineered systems and products
Conduct field assessments of existing electrical and power equipment
Conduct witness testing and participate in start-up activities during construction
Lead the design of medium to large size projects
Work closely with subcontractors and project team
Provide project scheduling and budgeting for projects
Support business development and marketing efforts
Lead and mentor junior staff
Ability to travel up to 20%
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure within 18 months of hire
Minimum of 7 years of related experience
Experience applying the National Electrical Code and power system software such as ETAP, EasyPower, and SKM
Experience preparing electrical designs, power system analysis, 1-line diagrams, 3-line diagrams, raceway plans, and lighting plans
Experience preparing Engineer Opinion of Estimated Costs for electrical designs
Experience using MS Project or similar project management scheduling software applications
Experience in water/wastewater preferred, but not required
Ability to lead and facilitate client workshops
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be available to work in Dallas, TX
