Summary :
As a Director, you will be responsible for the growth, development, and implementation of consulting services across multiple client engagements. Your role will focus on initiating opportunities, shaping value propositions for potential new clients and delivering positive outcomes. This position has the potential to lead an area of practice, based on prior vertical market experience.
Your Role :
Customize and communicate in a compelling manner the Novo value proposition for prospective clients.
Originate, fine-tune, and nurture transformational strategies from inception through to budgeting and implementation.
Directly responsible for the outcome of assigned client engagements, overseeing the activities of Company analysts and client staff.
Interacts frequently with clients and stakeholders, providing accurate and regular reporting on progress of engagement.
Actively participate in the entrepreneurial construction of the turnaround strategy consulting team: support recruiting process, define ways of working, contribute thought leadership.
Must be comfortable dealing in distressed client situations: Insolvency, complacency, diminishing sales, lack of accountability, poor communication, and any other situation imaginable that impairs the client's ability to generate profitability and cash flows.
Able to effectively deal with angry vendors, frustrated customers, and impatient bankers while working tirelessly and relentlessly to solve these problems on behalf of the clients.
Skills & Experiences :
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
Having personally served as a CRO/CFO (even on an interim basis) is a plus.
Proven experience of large-scale transformations within multi-million-dollar corporate strategy.
Corporate M&A and debtor/creditor relations experience a plus.
Skilled at building senior relationships and delivering high impact work for your clients.
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
Exhibit a high degree of integrity and honesty in all interactions—internal and external.
Team player, motivated by business value creation.
Excellent written, verbal, numerical and presentation skills.
Thorough consulting skills and experience consulting to investment bankers, private equity, and C-level clients—particularly focused on distressed environments.
Creative and analytical.
Interest and experience in technology and using technology to strengthen value-accretive business strategy and transformation.
Openness to frequent weekday domestic travel (up to 70%) and work on client sites to deliver hands-on, first-class services.
