Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our user interfaces, and ensuring an exceptional user experience for our customers. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while adhering to best practices and design principles.

Partner closely across Technology and Product teams to deliver a high-quality product to our customers

Create and maintain reusable UI components and libraries to streamline development and ensure consistency across our applications.

Optimize application performance and user experience by identifying and resolving frontend bottlenecks and issues.

Constantly look for better ways of solving technical problems and designing solutions, not afraid to challenge the status quo

Use modern tools and techniques to contribute to the full lifecycle of software architecture, development, and testing

Communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, and provide estimates

Share information and ideas to improve project execution and outcomes; be receptive to constructive feedback

Keep appropriate stakeholders informed of any problems or issues

Conduct business and complete tasks proficiently; meet commitments and deadlines

Seek professional and personal growth opportunities and attend trainings that enhance professional behavior

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.

Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or discovered during testing, and provide timely solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

BA or BS, preferably in computer science, engineering or science / technology-based disciplines (or equivalent experience)

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proven experience in frontend web development, including a strong portfolio of past projects. Experience on the development side of B2B marketplaces or trading platforms is a major plus.

Experience in React and Next.js. Understanding of other frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., Vue.js, Angular) is a plus.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and package managers (e.g., npm or yarn).

Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.

Knowledge of UI/UX design principles is a plus.

Compensation

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $160,000 to $210,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total cash compensation package, long-term incentives, and excellent benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team, among other factors.
