Standvast Fulfillment seeks an experienced Area Manager to lead a team within its fulfillment center in Columbia, MD. Standvast is leveraging a track record of developing best in class supply chains for the world's leading e-Commerce businesses to develop a technology-enabled, purpose-built e-Commerce fulfillment platform focused on high-growth brands. Standvast will serve thousands of brands generating billions of e-Commerce sales and will become a critical element to their success so they can serve their customer with excellence at a far faster pace than otherwise possible. This position must have an understanding of processes and the importance of workflow with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. They must flourish in a production-oriented environment. The ability to anticipate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment is key. The selected individual must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge and experience with Direct to Consumer, E-Commerce, or omni-commerce is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 20+ associates in the Fulfillment Center.
Develop and implement daily and weekly production plans to meet all customer SLAs within budget.
Develop, coach and mentor team for future advancement.
Set clear performance expectations and give appropriate recognition and feedback for performance.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Continue to improve warehouse systems knowledge and competencies for yourself and your team.
Communicate department expectations.
Monitor process performance and develop and implement process improvements.
All other duties as assigned by Site Leader/General Manager.
Qualifications:
2+ years' experience in warehousing, supply chain or logistics preferred
Bachelor's degree required (new graduates included)
Experience in process improvement using Lean/Six Sigma or other methodologies valued
Ecommerce fulfillment experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to engage and motivate others
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends if business require it
Lift 60+ lbs. may be needed
