We are seeking independent Wine Outside Sales Representatives to join our team! This is a commission-based position.
Location is stated as Columbia, MD. However, we are looking for coverage all across Central Maryland
Responsibilities:
Present and sell company products and services to new and existing trade customers (retail stores, restaurants, bars)
Prospect and contact potential customers
Coordinate and / or conduct Product Promotions at retail customers (store Wine Tastings)
Routinely contact and visit existing customers
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
Create sales material to present to customers
Manage or monitor deliveries to customers
Monitor and manage customer accounts receivable
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Maryland alcohol sales, and customer service
Familiarity with CRM platforms
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Job Requirements:
Background check required
Valid driver's license with clean 3-year record
Must have reliable transportation
Be able to lift / carry at least a case of wine (32 lbs) regularly
Be able to pour wine samples for all customers
Have or be able to acquire Alcohol Server training
