Walker Elliott is currently recruiting for highly skilled and motivated Land Director to join dynamic team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will lead client™s land department with a focus on data management and accuracy, playing a crucial role in the strategic growth of the company. This position offers a clear path to the Vice President of Land, providing excellent career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee and manage the land department, including up to 4 direct reports.
•Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of all land data.
•Develop and implement effective land management strategies and processes.
•Collaborate with other departments to align land management activities with overall business objectives.
•Familiarity with land administration.
•Maintain and update land records and databases, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
•Provide leadership and mentorship to the land team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
•Prepare and present reports on land activities, progress, and strategy to senior management.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Land Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in land management within the oil and gas industry.
•Deep understanding of data management principles and practices.
•Strong commitment to ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
•Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
