As a BSS Lead Application Migration Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. Enables Cloud Migration Solution Design and Delivery by leading: migration architecture solutions for hybrid-cloud environment eg. IBM Cloud Private & RedHat OpenShift
Leads Migration solution for hybrid cloud platform (on-prem, off-prem, dedicated cloud)
Design of the Migration strategy, migration tools, migration network requirement, application, database and integration component migration pathways
Leads the team to adopt right migrate tools for various migration method for (rehost, refactor, rearchitect, replatform, containerization etc.).
Acts as an SME in Migration Methodology and Project Plans
Leads Method Adoption Workshops or method tailoring for the Client environment and Client industry
Assists Migration Project Manager on Technical elements of project plan WBS, estimation, migration risk, dependencies, Minimum viable product (MVP)
Assists in building of Migration architecture solutions for multi-cloud environment eg. IBM Cloud, IBM Cloud Private, AWS, Azure
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience owning the End to End technical solution of the overall Cloud Migration effort
Known as recognized Thought Leader, with proven track record driving pattern identification and estimation of the workloads, migrated to the target Cloud environment
Must be certified in either AWS, Azure or Google cloud environment
Experience integrating applications with existing systems - effectively integrated new and existing systems that eliminated potential problems and maintained data structure and integrity
Possess confident analytical, creative, problem-solving and critical thinking skills,Detail-oriented, providing suggestions and solutions in areas of software development, use and maintenance
Lead teams within delivery multi-vendor environments
Worked alongside Executive and VP level clients
Experience supporting sales and presenting in client orals
Experience within the Communications Sector
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Apply design and testing methods - understand design and production procedures and standards to create prototypes and finished products
Effective verbal and written communication of complex Architecture, Cloud and Migration concepts to non-technical team members
