The Company is seeking a VP, Marketing to lead the development of pre-commercial marketing activities, including potential disease awareness campaigns and efforts to enhance genetic testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing impactful brand and marketing communication programs, as well as planning and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in marketing executive roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, life science, medical device, or general healthcare industries. Experience in rare disease product launches, solid acumen in all functions integral to business evaluation, and a strong understanding of marketing concepts, particularly in the context of patient and consumer marketing, are essential.Key responsibilities for the VP, Marketing include identifying and translating physician and brand insights into actionable programs, supporting key business functions, and collaborating with commercial teams to ensure regional alignment. The role also involves developing the positioning and messaging platform for the lead asset in Dravet Syndrome and overseeing the management of creative agencies and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 15 years of experience, with a background that demonstrates excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills. They should be adept at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, have a successful track record in project management, and have a strong drive for operational improvements.
