Description
Oversee janitorial services and staff for client sites within a dedicated territory. Ensure that sites are efficient and profitable. Maintain the company's reputation for serving clients and customers with professionalism and setting a standard of excellence.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensure company standards are met within the specified budget by conducting site inspections/audits, inventorying supplies/equipment, training supervisors & employees, and maintaining customer relations.
Contact customers on a regular basis to ensure services meet contractual requirements and ensure customer retention.
Perform personnel duties, including hiring, creating schedules, disciplinary action, performance reviews, etc.
Responsible for placing supply orders and ensuring sites are properly stocked within the supply expense budget given.
Responsible for preparing/reviewing payroll and properly educating supervisors on payroll procedures.
Understand and use proper personnel management skills to resolve problems with employee and supervisory personnel.
Manage budgets and costs associated with areas of direct responsibility.
Responsible for compliance with all safety policies and accident reporting.
Investigate concerns/complaints from clients and take steps to fix the issue and ensure it doesn't occur again.
Identify possible additional work within sites, such as periodic floor work, that might be necessary.
Field calls from clients/employees outside of regular business hours as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
2-5 years of Management Experience in Related Field
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent Customer Service, Time Management & Ability to Prioritize/Work Well Under Pressure
OTHER
Frequent Travel (Valid Driver's License); Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
