The cloud network engineer will help develop and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for Cloud infrastructure. The candidate will bridge the gap between the traditional on-prem network infrastructure, and the network infrastructure deployed in the public cloud. • Experience in managing all cloud-native network technologies offered by AWS, GCP and Microsoft Azure using automation.
• In-depth understanding of routing, switching, firewall, and network monitoring and management.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of interconnecting cloud regions as well as cloud to on-prem in a globally deployed network infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud native network security techniques using AWS Security Groups, AWS NACLs, AWS Firewall Manager, AWS WAF, GCP VPC Service Controls, GCP VPC Firewalls, Azure Network Firewalls, and Azure Security Groups.
• Maintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and compliance.
• Develop customized monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding and constantly changing environment, while being able to set priorities and balance multiple deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information in clear, concise terms to all position levels in the organization, as well as business partners, vendors and technical staff.
