Job Description
BEST Crowd Management is hiring a Compliance Director in New York! As the Compliance Director at BEST, your pivotal role involves ensuring that all security personnel adhere to local, state, and federal regulations by maintaining proper licensing. You oversee the licensing process, meticulously track records, and provide essential guidance to keep the company operating within legal boundaries. Your responsibilities span various critical areas:
Licensing Management : You manage the intricate process of obtaining and renewing security licenses for all personnel, including background checks, training certifications, and regulatory compliance.
Compliance Monitoring : Staying vigilant, you monitor regulatory changes and updates related to security licensing requirements, ensuring alignment with legal standards.
Documentation and Record-keeping : Your meticulous record-keeping ensures the accuracy and accessibility of all security personnel licenses, certifications, and compliance documentation.
Training Oversight : Collaborating with the training department, you develop and implement programs to ensure security personnel meet licensing requirements through adequate training.
Audit Preparation : You prepare for internal and regulatory audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
Policy Development : By updating company policies and procedures, you align security licensing compliance with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Risk Management : Proactively identifying compliance risks, you develop strategies to mitigate them and address any potential issues.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Working closely with other departments, including operations, HR, and legal, you seamlessly integrate licensing compliance efforts across the organization.
Pay: $90,000 - $100,000 / year

Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to HR and contract negotiations.
