JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager
DEPARTMENT: Brand Strategy
LOCATION: Any of Aligned Data Center's Markets or Remote w/ Travel
REPORTS TO: VP, Marketing
SUMMARY: Key responsibilities include communicating creative ideas to both supervisors and team members, collaborating on ideation with design, event, and business development teams to deliver solutions that are timely and effective. Responsible for interpreting, executing, and determining the efficacy of both internal and external brand and marketing strategies, events, and campaigns. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for keeping projects within budget and timeline parameters set forth by Brand Strategy executives. Reports to the VP of Marketing.
Duties And Responsibilities
This position requires a strong understanding of marketing strategies, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses a knack for generating and executive attention-grabbing ideas that will enable Aligned to stand apart from its competitors.
Play a pivotal role in the creative ideation, execution and optimization of both internal and external marketing projects, campaigns, and events
Regularly brainstorm and identify creative and impactful experiences for the company’s brand, products, and services
Manage the execution of internal and external marketing campaigns, events, and projects from concept to completion
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, content creators, event managers, web developers, and external agencies, to achieve marketing goals
Manage and track project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI
Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders and senior management
Collaborate with events manager to assist in the planning and execution of a wide range of events – virtually and in person, from 10 people to 500+, for both external and internal audiences
Collaborate with People & Culture Department on a variety of internal communications strategies and management of corporate intranet

Experience Required
5+ years of experience in marketing project management, with a proven track record of successful project execution
Knowledge of and/or experience working in the data center industry is preferred
Excellent problem solving and time management skills

Knowledge and experience with event management systems
Willingness to travel (15%)
Experience with email automation programs (Pardot preferred)
Proficiency in MSFT Office, Adobe Creative Suite, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Pardot, Unbounce, and Canva preferred
