CUMULUS MEDIA | (Atlanta, GA) has an immediate, fully remote opening for a Digital Performance Reporting and Insights Analyst on our Corporate Finance team. The Digital Performance Reporting and Insights Analyst will support key stakeholders across the organization by providing cross-functional analysis support and quantitative solutions to the Company’s sales, operations, and various support planning areas. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an exciting and engaging environment, with high visibility among executive leadership.

The Insights Analyst position will be part of a team that plays a critical role in tracking and verifying the achievement of digital financial and operational objectives across our radio stations and Westwood One network through development of reporting solutions, complex data analyses, insights development and data visualization-related efforts. The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of digital advertising products and understands the complexities of synthesizing massive datasets into appealing and digestible visualizations. Successful candidates can formulate and communicate clear, insightful recommendations for senior leadership and operating-level business managers. The role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to plan and execute high-visibility projects that will be used company-wide to measure and optimize business performance and drive strategies while ensuring excellence in data quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Support internal stakeholders with analysis of historical data to drive sales strategies, operational improvements, and organizational focus.

Support cross-departmental core metrics and data dependencies with leadership visibility; producing actionable KPIs and intelligence metrics to drive improved operational and financial results.

Collaborate closely with digital advertising leadership to understand departmental goals/strategies and deliver insightful, effective dashboards, visualizations and presentations.

Use advanced modeling techniques to improve automation efforts for better data visualization.

Assist in the annual budget process and development of budgeting and long-term forecasting models.

Special, ad hoc data/financial analysis and reporting requests/projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications : BS / BA degree required

2 - 5 years of experience in digital advertising analytics, including familiarity with industry measurement techniques.

Previous exposure to data science, visualization/KPI development, financial and/or operational analysis; integration of disparate data sources is a strong plus.

Proven financial budgeting and forecasting expertise; use of Adaptive Insights, Essbase, TM1 or other OLAP financial tools helpful.

Strong analytical skills and ability for finding solutions to complex problems and identifying stories and trends from data; reporting on/performing analyses for programmatic publisher ecosystems (SSP/DSP) is a strong plus.

Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, interest in learning the digital advertising ecosystem; and a desire to drive change and collaborate at all levels in a fast-paced organization.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with solid collaboration experience.
