About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) to join its executive leadership team. The CITO will play a critical role in shaping the organization's technology strategy and leading the implementation and operations of corporate technology. This includes assessing, evaluating, and selecting new technology to ensure improved outcomes and care for patients, as well as enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the staff. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) and five to ten years of technology leadership experience, with a focus on end-user experience and a strong background in the healthcare sector. Executive presence, strong communication skills, and a proactive, organized approach to leadership are essential. The CITO will be responsible for IT services, digital health, program management, cyber security, technical infrastructure, and support services.As a key member of the executive team, the CITO will contribute to the formulation of business and digital strategies, set the digital vision and IT roadmap, and ensure that IT investments align with the organization's strategic goals. The role involves building strong relationships with business groups, overseeing the planning and maintenance of IT services, and establishing a comprehensive technology innovations program. The CITO will also be responsible for the IT portfolio budget, vendor management, and providing strategic direction for the cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and recommending strategic technological advancements. Additionally, the CITO will be expected to lead the IT team in a high-performance culture and ensure that IT effectively supports the organization's operations and business applications.
