Senior Engineer - SaaS
ZL Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineer - SaaS in the Milpitas, CA area.
Responsibilities
Work as a part of geographically distributed engineering teams to enable transition of ZL tech's flagship products to a scalable, reliable and high-performance SaaS
Work on transition of current application architecture to micro services architecture
Collaborate with other functional teams in understanding requirements and translate them into technical solution
Work in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality software on time
Requirements
BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Information technology or engineering
3+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale (distributed) and scalable system architecture
2+ years of experience in Kubernetes, container technologies
2 + years of experience of Cloud native development
Experience in building REST APIs
Expertise in Dev/Ops and CI/CD implementation
Understanding of microservice design and architecture patterns
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
