**About the role:**

The **Sr. Tax Accountant** will lead our efforts in preparing annual state and city tax returns along with providing the Veralto Corporate Tax team with accurate and timely tax package filings for Hach Company and the Hach Group.

**In this role, you will** :

+ Preparation of all state and city income tax returns.

+ Maintain the tax calendar to ensure all deadlines are met.

+ Preparation of all income tax packages required by Veralto Corporate Tax.

+ Accumulation of state apportionment information.

+ Consolidation of Hach Group tax reporting packages.

+ Coordination with Hach Group accounting personnel to obtain accurate information in a timely manner for preparation of consolidated packages.

**It would be a plus if you could also:**

+ Analysis of deferred taxes.

+ Act as lead person to coordinate state income tax audits.

+ Act as lead with Veralto Corporate Tax to provide ad hoc information requests.

+ Calculate all schedule M adjustments and tax credits annually.

+ Assist in monitoring the unclaimed property process at Hach Company.

+ Prepare monthly reconciliation of tax related G/L accounts.

**Are you qualified?**

+ US or International equivalent of bachelor’s degree required.

+ US or International equivalent of Certified Public Accounting external certification preferred.

+ Two to Four years as an accountant with tax return preparation experience.

+ Demonstrated understanding of deferred taxes, accounting, and financial reporting.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
