Job Description: As a Petroleum Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data related to petroleum production, reserves, and exploration activities. You will play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Analyze data on petroleum production, reserves, and exploration activities.

Prepare reports, presentations, and financial models to support decision-making processes.

Collaborate with various departments including accounting, engineering, finance, business development (BD), and land.

Assist in evaluating potential investments, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the oil and gas industry.

Provide support for senior-level M&A, divestiture, land management, and commercial business development projects.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, geology, finance, accounting, or related field.

5+ years of experience in petroleum analysis or a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

Knowledge of petroleum production processes, reserves estimation techniques, and exploration methodologies.

Experience with financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
