We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. This position requires a deep understanding of managing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network devices and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing the local and wide area networks of our organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role involves a high level of collaboration with other IT team members and departments, providing technical guidance, and leading projects to enhance and upgrade our network infrastructure.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design, setup, and configure complex switching environments and complex wireless networks that support open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.
2. Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking (LAN) and Wide Area Networking (WAN).
3. Configure and install client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network systems.
4. Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
5. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed to identify and remedy network connectivity issues.
6. Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.
7. Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
8. Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. At least 5 years of proven experience in a network administrator role.
3. Hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, network setup, and network design.
4. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
5. Strong knowledge of Cisco network and hardware architecture.
6. Proficient in Linux Servers and VMware virtualization technologies.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
8. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
9. Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
10. Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
11. Strong customer service orientation.
12. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
13. Professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) will be considered an advantage.
