THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER, Department of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology is seeking candidates for a full–time Assistant Professor position. This is non - tenure track.
It is expected that the hemophilia provider described by this posting would continue that rich partnership with ROH and St. Jude in a similar manner for patient care, education, and research.
The applicant would participate in the education mission of UTHSC in areas related to hemophilia and general hematology, including the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Depending on the interests of the applicant, the education role can be escalated to educational leadership with opportunities available at all levels of medical education.
This position will be 80% clinical FTE and 20% academic at UTHSC.
Duties will include fellowship and residency training and lectures. Clinical responsibility includes inpatient/outpatient service.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree.
Must possess ABIM certification in their specialty.
Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
