Position Overview:
The Information Security Engineers will play a vital part in protecting the organization's digital assets and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. The Information Security Engineers will work as a team to cover every aspect of IT security. In a dynamic environment, this position will troubleshoot and resolve various challenges daily.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address weaknesses in our systems.
Design, implement, and maintain security controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and investigate potential security incidents.
Respond to security incidents effectively, to minimize damage and restore normal operations.
Stay up to date on the latest security threats and trends, recommend and implement appropriate security solutions.
Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies and procedures.
Influence employee security awareness training and education programs to help foster a security first culture.
Become a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and ensure security is built into every aspect of the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security or a related field.
Advanced understanding of security principles, including network, application, and data.
Experience with mainstream security tools and technologies (e.g., vulnerability scanners, firewalls, SIEM systems, endpoint protection, etc.).
Experience across multiple areas of technology and security.
Experience with cloud environments, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Understanding of Zero Trust principals and related solutions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient communication and collaboration skills.
