You will be a part of Boeing's Product Security Engineering Organization, which is a growing multi-disciplinary cybersecurity engineering organization that is responsible for the security and resiliency of our products, platforms, and services. You will have the opportunity to shape and influence Product Security Engineering within Boeing and engage with Boeing’s Product Security community. Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency engineering through requirements, design, analysis, build, test, production, operations, and support and sustainment. Areas of work may include:

Utilization of threat modeling and cybersecurity risk assessments to inform future requirements surrounding cyber survivability of platforms against specified cyber threats

Help define, develop, and enhance complex aircraft or major system architectures and interfaces

Plan and execute aircraft and system integration, validation, and verification activities related to cybersecurity and resiliency

Act as a cybersecurity point of contact for supporting organizations that directly affect the development and deployment of aircraft systems.

Develop cybersecurity best practices and guidance processes for the lifecycle of program development

Work closely with system and components suppliers

Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and industry to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems

Utilize a harmonized process of industry standards RTCA DO-326A/EUROCAE ED-202A and DO-356A/EUROCAE ED-203A to show compliance to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations related to airworthiness security

Create cybersecurity engineering artifacts to meet applicable certification requirements

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. *This role may require up to 25% Travel.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Able to travel up to 25% domestically

1+ years of experience with developing, delivering, and supporting products and systems as an engineer

1+ years of experience with systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security and/or cybersecurity

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience and applied knowledge of complex safety critical systems development process methodologies and associated practices such as but not limited to DO-356A, DO-326A

Experience integrating complex, safety-critical systems and solving associated problems

Experience with development of complex aerospace systems

Experience working across multiple Engineering disciplines

Experience applying the certification and airworthiness regulations from several of the following: Part 23, 25, 27, 29, 33, 35

Experience in leading system and component level cyber test and evaluation, including threat and security assessments, and table top exercises

Experience with MBSE process, language (SysML, ARCADIA) and tools (CAMEO, CAPELLA, etc) and its use in complex system development

Associate (Level 2)
