Construction Project Manager

Company is seeking a Full-time Project Manager who will work with management to achieve objectives and monitor implementation plan, timing, and key milestones for installation projects. Works with Department Heads to ensure projects are properly staffed for project requirements. Achieves phase sign-off; builds and maintains client relationships.
Must Haves:
Background in construction - make decisions and make sure process runs smoothly
Know how to read a set of drawings - read elevations, plumbing. Managed a construction crew a plus. Tracking construction progress
Working with the sales team on when a customer has selected a general contractor or pre-bid and clarifying the drawings
They get involved in the conversation with the customer and ESR on the front end how the drawings fit. Make sure customer is aware when they speak to architects what we do
Once Company gets the point in the process where most things are complete then the PM role really sets in - attends pre-construction meetings - ambassador on behalf of the Company Validates everyone's scope of work
Intake Notes:
3-5 years in construction project management and client consulting with solid understanding of basic construction practice, techniques, and schedules.
Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to meet goals and objectives.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand construction plans/drawing
Highly developed customer-facing skills and networking ability.
Ability to establish strong relationships within the organization to achieve results.
Ability to follow and revise project plans to meet project milestones and objectives.
Ability to read equipment drawings and print sets to guide installers and subcontractors
Success in working with 3rd party vendors to coordinate order and delivery of needed components
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and project management software
Experience with Salesforce is preferred. Be flexible & work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Be decisive & work well under pressure when faced with unexpected situations, or delays
Analyze & resolve problems
Education:
Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities:
Build scopes of work for installers and subcontractors. Prepares and analyzes work plans, revising as necessary.
Defines project team roles and responsibilities as well as project timelines that detail each level of installation. Develops project organization, structure, and communication strategies.
Building rapport with customers and maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the installation process
Manage and inspect the quality of work that is performed by subcontractors and employee installation technicians. Work closely with the production team, as well as all other company team members. Maintain a professional, clean and organized job site
Oversee worker productivity & compliance with building/safety codes and quality built
Manage and review milestone meetings and status reports; solve project issues, enhance progress and give updates accordingly.
Manages installation process supporting customer by providing all needed information and communication throughout the installation process.
Coordinates with customers to set and manage expectations.
Manages conflicting customer requests and complex issues/problems. Helps with the resolution of escalated tickets.
Provides direction to resolve complex problems, collaborating with others as appropriate; identifies trends. Maintains accountability for the timely resolution of project-related issues.
