Responsible for coordinating uniform orders in the retail store, sewing department, and warehouse areas. Expected to oversee all aspects of uniform orders from the time they are originally placed until the order is fulfilled and delivered. Interface with the tailor shop and warehouse to monitor the progress of in-house orders. Advise the Store Manager of progress reports, problems, or significant developments. While this positions primary responsibilities is handling uniform orders, he/she is still a member of the retail store management team and will assist with other customers and/or duties at the discretion of the Store Manager. The Retail Production Coordinator is required to communicate with the stores outside sales team and is charged with ensuring that all necessary information is the sales rep or agency for uniform orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ownership of all production metrics (oversight of the volume and organization of orders
* Process Orders Production Coordinator is the primary person to processes Uniform Orders in and out of the tailor shop, ensuring accuracy, appearance, and completeness.
* Coordination of Uniform Orders in the Tailor Shop/warehouse The Production Coordinator will review work on hand in both the tailor shop and the warehouse. He/she should prioritize orders as necessary. He/She must ensure the flow of all uniform orders needing alterations from the time they reach the sew shop to completion
* This position will be responsible for the organization and inventory inside of the sew shop
* Customer Service- The Production Coordinator will be the Primary point of contact at the retail level with regard to All uniform orders and questions.
* Policies and Procedures The Production Coordinator will ensure that all necessary documentation is included for all alteration orders.
* Training- The Production Coordinator will also assist in training other staff members in the even that he/she is unavailable. This includes clear communication and documentation on uniform Orders.
* Other duties as assigned.
* This position will include general store duties/functions as a member of the retail team.
* Train other staff associates on Agency uniform related concepts
* Supervise uniform orders in Tailor Shop/Warehouse
* Review work on hand in both the Tailor Shop and Warehouse
* Re-prioritize orders as necessary
* Pay special attention to orders that have not been progressing and determine what needs to be done to move them along
* Ensure all orders have necessary documentation including sewing forms and accurate and up to date production status.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum of two (2) years uniform related experience
* Minimum of two (2) years customer experience
* Required experience includes one or more years of management experience with law enforcement and emergency services uniforms
* Computer proficiency
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to lift up to 30lbs
* Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures
* Ability to adhere to Company safety policies and procedures
* Must be able to present a clean, professional image
* Must be able to keep work environment clean, presentable, and safe
* Responsible for entering in daily time keeping requirements
* Ability to pass criminal background check
* Must have a record of stability with employment history
* Must have an 'owners not renters' mentality
* Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
