Project Manager (PM)
Fortis Native Group is interviewing for a full-time, Project Manager for a federal government contract in the Sacramento area. This position requires a complete and thorough understanding of commercial/industrial mechanical systems and general maintenance as well as an aptitude for HVAC equipment. This is an administrative position, requiring experience in the managing and scheduling of crew members and subcontractors for both preventative and repair services at a federal government facility.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Document actions by completing service tickets and completing equipment records and logs.
Monitor and update computerized management systems.
Minimum Qualifications :
Technically qualified in the field of Facilities Management and should have two (2) years’ experience in business occupancy facilities operations and maintenance.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively with both oral and written skills.
A minimum, five (5) years servicing and/or renovating commercial buildings, including the supervision of a diversified work force responsible for operations, maintenance, and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems.
Must be familiar with the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks covered by the PWS, NFPA, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and OSHA codes and standards.
Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to pass stringent federal background check and obtain a secret clearance.
Must be able to work within a team environment to coordinate facility maintenance and repair operations.
Must be computer proficient, with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, Outlook
Additional Qualifications Preferred:
Working knowledge of, or capability to learn, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as: IBM Maximo, Manager Plus, EMaint., etc.
Salary Range: $90 to $102K
