Software Engineer Intern (AI-Native) — Fall 2026We're looking for engineers who don't just use AI tools — you build with them.At Kognitos, you'll work on real product problems using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI-assisted workflows. You'll ship fast, learn faster, and operate in a highly iterative environment alongside experienced engineers.This is not a "watch and learn" internship — you'll be writing production code, contributing to core systems, and helping shape how we build.What You'll DoBuild and ship features end-to-end with the engineering teamUse AI-native tooling (Claude, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development workflowsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews and technical discussionsDebug issues and improve system performanceContribute to projects across AI, automation, and data systemsMove quickly, test ideas, and iterate in a fast-paced environmentWhat We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong fundamentals in programming (Python, JavaScript, or similar)Comfortable building with modern dev tools and workflowsFamiliar with Git and collaborative developmentSolid understanding of core CS concepts (data structures, algorithms, systems basics)Strong problem-solving ability and curiosityClear communicator and team-orientedBonus PointsExperience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.)Built projects using LLMs, APIs, or automation workflowsFamiliarity with modern web stacks (React, Node, etc.)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Prior internship, startup, or side project experienceFinal NoteYou do not need to match all of the listed expectations to apply for this position.
