We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager with 10+ years of experience in the AEC industry to join our team of professionals. As an experienced lead, you are responsible for planning and implementing marketing strategies. Managing a team of marketing professionals, you will work alongside our engineering leadership to create the BHB story.

The Marketing Manager will lead a variety of marketing and communication efforts including but not limited to: Work with firm leadership on the development of marketing plans.

Managing and mentoring other marketing team members.

Manage marketing efforts to respond to RFQs and support teaming opportunities.

Collaborate with Principals and Business Development staff to strategically pursue opportunities and maintain current client relationships.

Support firm leadership in all forms of communications, providing content for project interviews, speaking engagements, conference presentations, white papers, and press releases.

Develop, write, and maintain all forms of project collaterals with Marketing staff, including process approach, design solutions, metrics, client testimonials.

Manage and update firm-wide brand design for external communications, messaging, and digital presence to enhance industry awareness.

Develop annual marketing plan and budget.

Development and maintenance of company website through partnership with outside web host and maintenance company.

Manage social media activities.

Supervise professional photography and videography.

Supervise the maintenance and development of client relationship management databases and other marketing files.

We require: A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing within the AEC industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite and social media management platforms.

A strong writing background.

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.  Connections are a critical part of how we work.

We like to see: A degree from an accredited college or university in Journalism, Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing or related field.

Leaders who are highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects/people, meet tight deadlines and take direction in a high-performance environment.

Physical Demands

This position is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting, but occasional walking and lifting up to 25lbs may occur.  Occasionally bending, squatting, and reaching overhead may also occur.  Additionally, extensive computer usage is required daily.

Position Type and Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt position, with an expectation to work 40 hours per week. BHB offers flexible scheduling options, including five 8-hour days or four 9-hour days with a half day on Friday morning. While the start and end times of the workday can be adjusted, employees are expected to establish and maintain a consistent schedule which must encompass the core business hours of 9am – 4pm.   Although overtime is not required, it is requested at times. Some marketing events may require a schedule outside of normal operation hours. This is anticipated to be a couple of times a year.

Travel

Some travel around the DFW metroplex can be expected monthly.  Longer travel is also anticipated for conferences throughout Texas and surrounding states. Mileage for business purposes is paid for by the company.
