WORK WILL BE ONSITE AT EITHER OUR DALLAS, TX OR HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA OFFICE*********Pay Range: $110000 - $130000 / yearOur Perks & Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurancePerformance-based bonuses to reward your contributions*Paid time off to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balanceFlexible work options, including remote and hybrid opportunities, if eligibleRetirement Plan (401k) with company-matched contributionsEducation Advancement, for employees and qualified dependents, via the Confie Enablement Scholarship FundFitness Reimbursement – up to $15/month for gym membershipsInclusive workplace through a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionEmployee Assistance Program – confidential support for personal or professional challenges, at no costExtra Perks – optional plans for disability, hospital indemnity, health advocate program, universal life, critical illness, accident insurance, and even pet insurancePurposeResponsible for performing risk assessment, security analysis, and developing remediation plansEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesIT Security Administration: The primary goal is to reduce downtime and maintain the capacity for future growth due to security issues within Systems and NetworksHelp develop and implement IT Security standards and best practices to ensure a high degree of user satisfactionDocumentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented security systems/networks and updates for each system/network changePerform the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with industry best practicesOwn a solid knowledge of server administration and management: setup, install, configure, administer, maintain, monitor, and support physical and virtual servers, and some Linux and VMware ESX/Vsphere, and other server applications and productsLead/drive processes to identify security vulnerabilities with networks & systems; provide technical advice & support to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptlyDevelop, implement, and maintain internal procedures to ensure data security, including incident response handlingSecure and audit Microsoft server environments, such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory services and other server rolesEvaluate and improve the existing PCO and SOX security framework within the organizationDevelop and collaborate with efforts for Business Continuity Planning and Disaster RecoveryWork independently with very little supervision while providing documented activitiesQualifications and Education RequirementsCISSP or SANS GIA certification is a plusKnowledge of security monitoring tools such as UTM, IPS, IDS, and other security appliancesMust be very comfortable with technical elements of network security and design, including TCP/IP, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, routersUnderstanding of WAN, MPLS, and technologies such as VoIP is beneficialMust be willing to work outside normal business hours as neededPreferred SkillsMinimum 4+ years of experience in information technology security or equivalent combination of education and experienceProblem-solving skills to resolve issuesExcellent attitude and interpersonal skillsProject management, organizational, and prioritizing skillsOther DutiesThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
