We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow to join the Medical Biodynamics Center at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Clinical translational studies include RCTs, prospective cohorts, and large-database analysis focused on the intersection of sleep/circadian and aging research.
Modified cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) interventions for the SCOPE Trialin cardiac surgery (funded by PCORI) and the SLEEP-BOOST trial in orthopedic patients (NIA).
Biomarker research of dementia risk and disease monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Project Lead for the SCOPE and SLEEP-BOOST trials
Drive independent research direction while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of researchers
Analyze data and interpret results
Present and publish findings
Mentor graduate and undergraduate students
Assist with grant writing
Qualifications:
PhD, MD, MD/PhD with strong writing skills and a sound track record of publications
Familiarity with human study protocols
Statistical knowledge
Preferred Research Background and Skills:
Behavioral health and/or CBT experience is strongly preferred (e.g., clinical/health psychology PhDs) but not mandatory
Clinical trials, sleep/circadian health, or dementia human research experience
Programming skills, signal processing, machine learning, and/or deep learning are highly welcome
