Position description
We are seeking a professional research role to join the Locksley lab which investigates the cellular and molecular underpinnings of allergic immunity. The ideal candidate will have strong background in immunology and a track record of accomplishment in research. This position reports to the PI directly.
Required qualifications:
Must have (or in process of obtaining) a doctorate degree or equivalent.
Identify, evaluate, design and execute experimental plans for in vivo and ex vivo models to characterize functions of immune cells and stromal cells in mucosal barrier tissues at cellular and molecular levels.
Utilize flow-based technologies and develop novel flow panels to profile immune cells and stromal cells cross-tissue in mouse.
Extensive technical and hands-on experience with microscope to characterize immune cells and structural cells in mucosal tissues.
Experience in single cell RNA sequencing workflow and data analysis with mouse tissues.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Interpret data and write manuscripts with the PI and other co-authors.

Preferred qualifications:
Self-motivated, accomplishes goals with minimal supervision.
5 year+ postdoctoral training in immunology.
Track record of independent research and publications.
Track record of sustainable funding.
