Job Description Job Description What we're looking for: 5-10 years' experience in Information Technology, 2-3+ years in an Architecture environment.
Mastery in one of the SecDevOps practices: IaC - Terraform, SONAR, Git-CI Cloud-AWS, CICD-Git/Argo, microservices architecture deployment (primarily Kubernetes), with awareness of site reliability engineering principles.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience with source control and continuous integration tools.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Good experience with AWS cloud services: IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, API Gateway.
Ability to work in fast-paced teams with quick decision-making.
Scripting experience with Bash/Shell, Python.
Mandatory experience in IaC - Terraform.
CI (preferably GitLab CI) and CD (preferably Argo CD).
Kubernetes debugging experience.
What you'll be doing: Act as an individual contributor and collaborator, mentoring team members on security disciplines to enhance security posture.
Troubleshoot and debug codebases related to connected vehicle technology.
Deploy, automate, manage, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems.
Adopt new technologies, tools, and processes as required.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
Maintain and enhance existing codebases through peer review.
Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
Manage creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
Troubleshoot system issues across various application domains.
Review code and technical approaches to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Guide and mentor technical teams on architecture styles and technologies.
Provide guidance on testing strategy and performance tuning.
Define and communicate technical solutions and architecture.
Qualifications / What you bring (Must Haves) Highlight Top 3-5 skills: Mastery in one of the SecDevOps practices IaC-Terraform, Cloud-AWS, CICD-Git/Argo, microservices architecture deployment (primarily Kubernetes) with awareness about site reliability engineering principles.
Accountability and ownership in project delivery using Agile/JIRA best practices.
Trusted advisor to application teams on SecDevOps standards and best practices.
Creation of component and process flow diagrams.
Assist application support teams in performance, scalability, reliability, and capacity planning.
Added bonus if you have (Preferred): Expertise in multiple tool stacks within Cloud Platform Engineering (AWS ECS, EC2, S3, etc.).
Additional skills in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins), Secrets Management (HCP Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), Networking (Transit GW, VPC Peering, etc.), Scripting (Python, Bash/Shell, etc.), Build Tools (Maven, NPM, etc.), Databases (RDS, SQL, MySQL, etc.), Security Scans (SAST, DAST, etc.), Logging and Monitoring (DataDog, Splunk, etc.).
Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards and IT Architectural frameworks.
