**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Stanford Athletics is currently accepting applications for the position of Associate Head Coach, Men’s Swimming. The Associate Head Coach will assist the Head Coach of the Men’s Swimming program of a Division I athletics program.

**SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**

+ Assist in planning, organizing and coaching team training and practice sessions.

+ Participate in coaching activities during practices and at competitions.

+ Conduct scouting and perform video and film reviews.

+ Assist in recruiting student-athletes to compete at Stanford ensuring compliance with NCAA rules and University standards and during the recruitment process.

+ Assist in coordinating team schedules and arranging transportation for away-from-home contests.

+ Understand and apply NCAA regulations to all aspects of program. Must pass NCAA recruiting exam on an annual basis.

+ Represent the men’s swimming program at various public events and department-wide programs, as assigned.

+ Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or designee.

**Requirements:**

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years collegiate or professional coaching experience required. Division I collegiate coaching experience preferred.

**DAPER’s Integrity:**

This position, along with all DAPER coaches and staff, is responsible for the integrity of Stanford’s intercollegiate athletics program and for the reputation of Stanford University. This position is responsible for insuring that his/her involvement with Athletic Department activities maintains the integrity of the University’s reputation and does not negatively impact the relationship between the University and its faculty, staff, students and alumni. Additionally, this position must comply with University policies and procedures, NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 to $100,00 per annum.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
