New **Position Summary:**
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for first-line management and overall performance of his/her department. This position is responsible for preparing and planning strategies to meet the departments daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Responsibilities also include coaching and managing associates to high performance standards and recognizing individual and team success. The Warehouse Manager reports to the General Manager. The Warehouse Manager partners with the site General Manager in the pursuit of operational excellence and the facilitys all-around success. **Responsibilities:**
* Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, dock processes, and shipping
* Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
* Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
* Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulation
* Support facility and department guidelines, processes, and SOPs
* Strong attention to detail in fast pace environment
* Monitors inventory levels and recommends adjustments to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs and freight charges.
* Works with other departments to establish production and quality control standards to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered.
* Administer cycle-counting program to ensure accuracy and analyze inventory levels for parts to ensure proper sizing for Kanban items.
* Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime

**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or GED, Bachelors Degree preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience
* 3 to 4 years in a fulfillment center environment preferred
* Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
* Strong computational skills required. Including but not limited to customary and metric measurement, fractions, percentages and ratios.
* Strong communication skills while interfacing with all levels of staff and customers.
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
* Attention to detail and problem solving.
* Self-starter; utilizes all known resources to problem solve
* Must be organized, self-motivated and dependable
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Valid Drivers License
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferred.
* Oracle Knowledge, strongly preferred
* Door or mechanical industry a plus
**Physical/Work Environment Requirements**
* Office (temperature controlled) / Warehouse (not temperature controlled) environments
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
* Repetitive standing, lifting, reaching, bending, climbing, & kneeling
* Computer and office equipment utilization
