About The Job

We are seeking dynamic, self-motivated, creative, and detail-oriented environmental planning professionals interested in joining our growing NEPA Team. The individual chosen for the position will work collaboratively with Dudek's environmental team in Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and California on a wide variety of projects including renewable energy, resource management, industrial, transportation, residential, and mixed-use projects.

Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below): Perform research, strategic consultation, preparation and project management of NEPA documents for complex public and private land development projects

Coordinate and manage interdisciplinary resource and planning technical teams tailored to the specific needs of individual projects

Manage public engagement activities and interact with various members of public agency and private client staff on matters related to land use planning, project description development, NEPA compliance, and land development/entitlements

Provide junior-level staff guidance on NEPA and other environmental regulatory requirements, as well as best practices for preparing NEPA documents and other project deliverables

Promote a culture of teamwork, engagement, quality service, and customer satisfaction to our public and private clients

Foster client connections through existing client relationships and proactive business development in the candidate’s areas of strength and interest, working with others to anticipate and pursue work Enhance Dudek’s professional reputation and demonstrate the ability to be creative and innovative with these tasks while representing Dudek in a professional manner

Work closely with other Dudek Project Managers to promote our business interests in adherence with the company’s mission, vision, and values Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor(s)

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies/planning or policy, urban planning, or similar from an accredited four-year college

8 or more years of professional work experience with demonstratable success in NEPA document preparation including Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments as well as associated public involvement requirements

Project management experience overseeing contracts, budgets, schedules and technical staff or subconsultants in the preparation of NEPA documents is required

* As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check.

Preferred Qualifications Ability to travel regionally for business; reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license.

Excellent communication, organization, writing, and presentation skills are required.

Physical Requirements

Working Conditions: This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.

This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This job requires working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting.

This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc. Speaking, hearing and listening are required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Proposed Salary Range: $105,000-$152,000 annually *

*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
