OVERVIEW

You are a curious software developer who is dedicated to your craft and solving big problems; you write code that you are proud of and can hit the ground running with support from the team. You pride yourself in owning problems but don’t want to work in a vacuum to solve them.  Collaborating with the team to come up with the best solution for your customer is what fuels your fire. AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER ON THE AGENT TEAM YOU WILL Research, design, develop, and own solutions that provide feature-rich experiences in our Agent application that runs on over 1 million endpoints globally across all three major operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).

Lead by example by championing software development best practices, and writing well-designed code.

Extend, enhance, and evolve our endpoint software to enable delivery of new platform and client-side features.

Contribute to continual improvement by testing, performance tuning, refactoring, usability improvements, and automation.

Produce detailed specifications, and contribute in all phases of the engineering lifecycle.

Operate with a quality-first mindset. Your approach to testing sets you apart from your peers.

Make data-driven decisions. You understand the impact of your development before it reaches production.

ABOUT YOU Programming experience in Golang is required. That being said, the right candidate will leverage their extensive engineering background to be impactful in any language.

2+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-connected client-side applications.

Experience working as a Software Engineer developing features on an Agent/IoT application is desired.

Some familiarity with systems programming, networking, virtual machine orchestration,  DevOps, and shell-scripting languages (Bash/Powershell)

Windows and/or Linux and/or MacOS application development experience.

Excellent communicator, thrives within a tightly knit, cross-functional remote team environment.
